DRAFT FOR REVIEW. This page is a plain-language starting point. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by an attorney in Trinidad and Tobago. Do not treat it as finished terms. Have a T&T lawyer review it before launch.
What we store when you create an account: your email address, a hash of your password (not the password itself), your display name, and the time you joined. If you add them, we also store a phone number, a short bio, the general area you name, languages, and availability.
Your email and phone are not shown on your public profile. A phone number stays hidden unless you later choose to share it in a conversation. Do not put your home address in a public job or profile. Jobs ask for a region and, if you want, a community — not a street address.
Messages you send are stored so you and the other person can read them. If you report someone, we store the report. We store a hash of technical details we need to slow down abuse, such as rate limits. We do not ask for your GPS location.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, KV, and R2). Those services process the data needed to run the site. We have not written a cross-border transfer clause here; a T&T lawyer should review that.
You can edit your profile from your account page. You can delete your account there too. Deletion removes your sign-in and clears the public profile text. Jobs you posted and messages already sent may remain so the other person still has a record of what was agreed. Ask via the contact page if you need a specific message taken down. A lawyer should review how long we keep reports, logs, and backups (D1 Time Travel and exports).
We do not sell personal information. We do not run ads.
