DRAFT FOR REVIEW. This page is a plain-language starting point. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by an attorney in Trinidad and Tobago. Do not treat it as finished terms. Have a T&T lawyer review it before launch.
Dayworkertt connects people. It does not employ them, supervise the work, or insure it. We do not run background checks, and we do not mark anyone as verified, insured, or background-checked.
Meet in a way that feels safe for you. For a job at your home, consider having someone else there. For a first meeting, a public place is often easier.
Agree the price, the time, and who brings tools or transport before the work starts. Write it in the offer or the messages so there is a record. Dayworkertt will not collect the money.
Be careful about paying the full amount up front, sending a code, or sharing a bank card. We cannot reverse a payment we never touched.
If the work is regulated — especially electrical and plumbing — ask the worker what they are qualified to do. A listing on Dayworkertt is not a licence.
If you feel unsafe, stop the conversation, block the person, and report them. If you are in immediate danger, contact the police.
